WHICH FLOOR SHOULD I CHOOSE?

The choice of flooring depends on the specific use and the level of protection required:

1cm Thickness : Ideal for home gyms and small workout spaces. Offers good grip and protection for bodyweight exercises, moderate weights and cardio equipment, without being too thick or bulky.

2cm Thickness : Perfect for commercial gyms and personal training studios. Provides an excellent balance of shock absorption and durability, protecting your floor from free weights and heavy equipment with good sound insulation.

3cm Thickness : The best choice for heavy lifting and weightlifting areas. Designed to absorb the impact of loaded barbells and repeated drops, reducing noise and vibration, protecting both the floor and equipment.

Platforms : Specific to the type of discipline or training.

WHAT ARE THE VARIOUS FLOOR MODELS MADE OF?

High density rubber floors are made mainly from recycled rubber:

SBR rubber offers excellent resistance to impact, abrasion and weathering, making it ideal for absorbing the impact of weights and equipment.

• The addition of EPDM improves durability and aesthetic appearance, allowing for more wear-resistant colors and finishes.

Heavy lifting platforms are usually made up of:

Middle layer of wood (usually birch or oak plywood ) to ensure stability and a solid surface for lifting.

High density rubber edges to absorb shock and protect both the barbell and the floor.

This combination offers the right mix of shock absorption and solidity, essential for weightlifting and powerlifting.

CAN I COMBINE RUBBER FLOORING AND PLATFORMS?

Yes, you can combine rubber flooring and running boards for maximum protection and optimum performance.

The combined use is ideal for creating a versatile training area: the rubberized floor provides uniform coverage throughout the space, absorbing shock and reducing noise, while the footplate provides a more stable and focused surface for heavy lifting, further protecting the floor and improving safety when dropping the barbell.

This solution is perfect for commercial gyms and advanced home gyms, ensuring durability and comfort in every training session.
