Constructed with rubber side plates that sit on a machined and recessed all-steel core to prevent metal-to-metal contact, helping to prevent damage to your rack or barbell; stainless steel pin, fully reinforced and welded to the main structure, ensuring maximum strength and durability over time. The welds are inside the side plates for a clean, burr-free edge , while a thin piece of rubber on the side of the latch softens contact between the latch and the upright as the hook is rotated into place on the rack.
